In the name of our Creator, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Today I reflect on a common divine message across the Abrahamitic faiths…Compassion being its core…
“None of you truly believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself” Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
“Love they neighbour as thy self” Jesus (PBUH) (Gospel of Matthew)
“Love your neighbour as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18) (Torah)
How does one seek to attain this heightened level of spirituality, of selflessness? This ultimate level of faith and love…
Thoughts…
Can you attain this by getting to know yourself, striving towards becoming more conscious, aware/mindful? Truly making this a divine principle in our lives…?
How do we remain connected? How do we practice remaining and building consciousness in our day?
How do we convert our daily rituals into strategic enablement to truly help us drive and achieve higher levels of consciousness and mindfulness? Building individual and collective strategies to stop turning hunger into greed; truth into deceit; kindness into cruelty, arrogance and jealousy; and thirst into bloodthirstiness…
Steering us towards taking accountability for our feelings towards humanity and how we deal with each other?
How does one build and engrain this divine principle into our character and into our soul…ultimately striving towards a world filled with more compassion, peace, love and justice…?
