I am awoken by a face butt,
a soft and tickling feeling,
I shoo it away…agh, not another annoying mosquito,
this persistence soon turns into, a determined stretch of meowing…
Oscarrr… I utter with tiredness…
he stares at me intensely and with lots of desperation,
he leads me to his litterbox, his least of favourite spots…
You see Oscar is freakishly into cleanliness, and me forgetting to clean his litterbox,
resulted in an accident of a tiny little poop, right outside his box,
he refused to do his business in an uncleaned litterbox,
he sniffs and sniffs and profusely scrapes the wooden floors,
he has a hope of covering, his tinsy winsy mess,
he scrapes and scrapes with no outcome, as he doesn’t realise, the wooden floors are fixed,
I finish clean things up, in and around his box,
thereafter I commence my prayers,
and Oscar begins to purrrr,
he sits right next to me on top of my prayer mat, with his head slanted onto my lap,
so grateful he is for me cleaning up his stinky little mess,

O what significant signs these events are, amidst me engaging my Creator,
a reflection of his wonderful creation with instincts only he could conjure…
