1. Each time I steered away from my source, I found myself lost,

2.Each time I tried to control my every outcome, I realised my bondage,

3.Each time I felt my success was attributed to me, the more it alluded me, and I kept chasing,

4.Each time I sought my answers outside of me, I kept falling,

5.Each time I saw the world through only my limited perspective, I never truly saw its beauty,

6.Each time I shy’d away from living my truth, it stopped me from realizing my potential,

7.Each time I chose fear, I miss an opportunity to live in peace,

8.Each time I react to my anger, I only hurt myself,

9.Each time I chose to not let go, I saw opportunities of true happiness passing me by,

10.Each time I spent worrying, I lost living,

11.Each time I chose to remain silent to injustice, I moved away from attaining inner peace,

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful, the most Compassionate, the most Forgiving, the Protector, the giver of gifts, the most Loving…

Keep me connected to you, guide me in accepting that which I cannot control,
fill me with the courage to change that which I can and protect me from that which is not good for me,
fill me with humility by wiping out whatever arrogance exists within me,
fill me with love and compassion and kindness in all my actions,
fill me with your mercy to forgive myself and those that harm me,
fill me with sincerity and purity of heart so I may tread each step in goodness,
fiill me with peace, tranquility and humility that shines in a way that is pleasing to you alone,
fill me with your protection to keep me safe from all harm physically, spiritually, emotionally…
